I have lived for more than 30 years as a Wilderness Dweller. Most of that time was in cabins I built myself far from the nearest road, high in the mountains of British Columbia, Canada. My "retirement" home is accessible by a bush road but still far from neighbours. I live off the grid, and operate this blog by solar-powered satellite internet.

Captured By Fire is Published!

Captured By Fire is published.  The book is in our hands!

In one week from today, 13th September, we give our first slide show, at Nimpo Lake. Then Tatla Lake 20th September, and Alexis Creek 21st September.

At the end of the month, both Fred and I go on the road, starting Williams Lake and travelling south.  Here is the schedule.  Hope to see you there.

I will also be able to mail books to those interested.  I cannot process credit cards, so payment will be by cheque or Interac. Price of book is $24.95CAD, mailing will be extra – anywhere from $9 to $19 in Canada, depending on province, a bit less for US and overseas.
